Australian Citizenship Pledge

"From this time forward, under God,
I pledge my loyalty to Australia and its people,
whose democratic beliefs I share,
whose rights and liberties I respect, and
whose laws I will uphold and obey." - Australian Citizenship Pledge



I think this pledge means that australian should respect the laws and democratic rules from the Australians. Every Ausralian should be happy to be an australian.

    Courtney, I like the way you put the quote there to ensure everyone knew what you were talking about. Well done. Would you please fix up the fact that Australia or Australians always need a capital A? You also mistyped Australian. I think you could have made a better statement, but it is a good start.
